About Me
Adrienne Schmidt, LCSW, CIMHP
Founder of MindSync Neurotraining
Hi, I'm Adrienne — a therapist, mom, wife, hobby tap dancer, beginner piano player, and passionate believer in integrative mental health.
I discovered neurofeedback in 2021 — not as a therapist, but as a person who had tried everything to manage anxiety. For as long as I could remember, my stomach would twist into knots whenever something new was coming — public speaking, social events, even just Mondays. I practiced every skill I knew: deep breathing, coping ahead, reframing my thoughts. But no matter how calm my mind felt, my body stayed stuck in anxiety.
A fellow clinician recommended neurofeedback, and it changed everything. Within months, the nausea that had followed me my whole life was simply… gone. And it hasn't come back.
That experience lit a fire in me. I've been a licensed therapist for over 15 years, so I know I'm not alone in this. So many people are doing all the right things in therapy — but their nervous system is still in overdrive. Sometimes, talk therapy isn't enough. Sometimes, we need a reset.
Over the past two years, I've trained under Dr. Nathan Brown at Truebearing Academy — a neurofeedback training program built on Dr. Brown's 40+ years of clinical neurotherapy experience. I'm trained in his QEEG-guided protocols and methods, and I continue to receive mentorship in the latest advancements and research in this field.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional (CIMHP), I bring both clinical depth and personal experience to every client I work with. At MindSync Neurotraining, I help clients across the Denver metro area — and nationwide — train their brains from the comfort of home, using QEEG-guided neurofeedback to support lasting calm, focus, and emotional resilience.
I'm so glad you're here.
